He never saw her coming…
Spencer Lark already knows too many secrets about Arizona Storm, including the nightmare she survived and her resulting trust issues. But in order to expose a smuggling ring—and continue avenging his own tragic past—the bounty hunter reluctantly agrees to make Arizona a decoy. Yet nothing has equipped him for her hypnotic blend of fragility and bravery, or for the protective instincts she stirs in him.
Arizona wants to reclaim her life, which means acting as bait to lure the enemy into a trap. Sure it's dangerous, especially with a partner as distractingly appealing as Spencer. But as their plan—and their chemistry—shifts into high gear, Arizona may discover there's an even greater risk in surrendering her heart to a hero….
You'll find an excerpt and ordering info here.
My review:
When Spencer Lark is assigned to protect Arizona Storm as she offers herself up as bait for a vicious group of human traffickers, he tries to keep distance between him and the much-younger Arizona, despite an undeniable attraction. Arizona knows human trafficking first-hand after she herself was a victim.
Spencer admires Arizona’s resilience and strength, despite her heartbreaking past. Arizona regrets her past more than anyone will ever know, but she’s used it as a learning experience, serving to make her ever stronger and capable of taking care of herself.
I think you’d be hard pressed to find a romance reader who hasn’t read Lori Foster. I’m just one of many readers who has enjoyed Lori’s work for years. Her voice is strongly unique. Her characters are capable and unashamedly bold, especially when it comes to passion. No need to be explicit when you can sensually explore and capture beautiful emotion.
In A PERFECT STORM, Lori tackles the topic of human trafficking head-on, shining a light on brutally painful truths, while sparing readers graphic details.
A PERFECT STORM is a wonderfully written continuation of Lori Foster’s Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor series. Catching up with characters from previous titles is like coming home. I recommend this series to all readers who appreciate well-written romance.
To celebrate Lori's upcoming release, I'm offering one reader their choice of a Kindle or Nook version of one of the three previous books in this series, WHEN YOU DARE, TRACE OF FEAR, or SAVOR THE DANGER. Just leave a comment about your favorite Lori Foster book, your favorite cover, character, etc. I'll draw the winning name on Friday, March 16th, so be sure and check back. If you think you might forget to check back, feel free to leave your email addy with your comment.
Thank you for checking out A PERFECT STORM, and a big thank you to Lori for allowing me to read and review this wonderful book for you!

My favorite is Jamie. Lori Foster's books are wonderful. Such a talented writer.
You mean I can only pick one!!! If so, I would have to say Unexpected. I think Lori was ahead of her time when she wrote this story about a female mercenary. This resides on my keeper shelves and I usually re-read it every year.
Wow. It's really hard to pick just one, I'm a big fan of Lori's.
Hmmm, I guess my favorite would have to be any of the books from the Buckhorn Brothers series (Once and Again, Forever and Always, Casey. I love Morgan & Misty's story just a little bit more than the others in the series.

How unfair is this contest. You seriously want me to pick a favorite from all of your books, that's like asking me to pick a favorite child!! I wouldn't even know where to being to pick a favorite! I mean there's Sam Watson who....well wow, he just takes charge but tries to resist Ariel. So damn hot! Then there's the whole Winston brothers, I couldn't possibly choose between them. Let's not forget Noah Harper, so hot he melts your panties! The SBC guys....wow...while I'm partial to Dean Havoc I wouldn't throw the others out of my bed! Not to mention Jude or Murphy because they seriously know how to get things done. The men of Visitaton, how could I possibly choose of on them. Such great guys and so unbelievebly sexy! Then there are the Men Who Walk The Edge of Honor, they can walk all over me! Last but not least, how could I ever choose between any of the Buckhorn Brothers (or Casey)....these were the guys that started my Lori Foster addiction an addiction I hope I never beat!! So looking forward to A Perfect Storm but I really can't choose a favorite Lori Foster hero. There are just too many and I wouldn't want to upset the others!!

I would love to win this. It would be my first Lori Foster book!!
TY for the opportunity.
The first book I read of Lori's was Say no to Joe? It is still one of my favorites. I love that the men in this series act like men. They don't have to rip their women apart to do it. The women in this series have minds of their owns and don't act like flaky little twits. I love the covers on the fighting series however, they are very well done and usually match my image of the fighter pretty well. Have never read anything of Lori's that I didn't enjoy.
My favorite one of Lori Fosters books is too much temptation. It's a story that feels so heartwarming! It isn't just about the love the couple find in one another but the way Grace blossoms and gains confidence with having Noah be in her life. Everyone deserves a Noah :)

Causing Havoc! I also liked Sawyer. It's tough to choose a favorite.
I also like Dare and Trace. I have read many many of lori Fosters books and this one sounds as facinating as the rest. Would love to win this one. :)
I have read just about every thing you've written, your stories entice you they inspire with personal triumph to over come, that keeps you turning the page and picking up another. Great work! Can't wait for the perfect storm. Holly at poohbear6302@gmail. com

Picking just one favorite seems nearly impossible. If i had to choose though, it would likely be a toss up between "Simon Says", "Jamie" and the Servant Series written by Lori's alter-ego, LL Foster. I'm so excited for Spencer's AND Arizona's story. I love the mental fortitude of the women in Lori's stories.
