Happy New Year!

Wishing all of you a happy, healthy 2010!
What are your hopes and dreams for the new year? Resolutions? I'm hoping for continued good health for my family, a full time job for oldest daughter, and the willpower to get myself into better physical shape with lifestyle changes including better eating habits and exercise. These past few months I've slipped back into old bad habits, not working out and out of control bingeing and I feel terrible because of it. I don't mean guilty terrible, I mean I feel just plain rotten - lethargic, bloated and miserable. It's not a good feeling and has me a bit down. I know that being more active and eating better will give my energy a huge boost and I'm looking forward to getting back on the ball. Might start back up with "Think Thin Thursday" - maybe even ask for guest bloggers to share suggestions and ideas for weight loss and getting/keeping in shape. What do you think?
One of the things I'm also hoping to improve upon are my blogging habits. I've been so sloppy about keeping in touch and have no doubt lost a good deal of readers because of it. I'm terribly behind on reviews, book and author chatter, and contests.
I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. If you're out on the roads, please be careful.
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you too, Laurie!

I'm also resolving to actually update my blog regularly this year. We'll see how long that lasts!

Best wishes for getting back on track with your healthy eating campaign!! I'm all for your Think Thin Thursdays and other helpful hints!! I've managed to slip back too. It's so easy to do. I had all 4 of my children home for Christmas Yay!! BUT, I made their favorite foods which I then had to sample = extra pounds!!

Happy New Year Laurie.

I was doing pretty good until the holidays. Working the 2nd job didn't help matters either. Hopefully after things settle down I can get back on track.

I do keep a log of what I eat that seems to help. I need to get back on a regular schedule of doing my walking dvd's.

Hugs
