Kelsey gets security alert texts from Kent State for anything from impending bad weather, canceled classes, events, etc. Since she's home for the summer she doesn't pay much attention to them - until yesterday when she received one indicating that there was a Black Bear roaming the main campus and warning anyone who sees it to not attempt to have contact or feed it. First off, this is not an everyday thing in Ohio so it was a little shocking - second, how sad that college students, or any adults, young or otherwise, have to be told to stay away from it.

A Black Bear on campus?
Kelsey gets security alert texts from Kent State for anything from impending bad weather, canceled classes, events, etc. Since she's home for the summer she doesn't pay much attention to them - until yesterday when she received one indicating that there was a Black Bear roaming the main campus and warning anyone who sees it to not attempt to have contact or feed it. I know we have had sightings in the counties just north of me. And they say the same thing. Don't approach the bear. HELLO...
