Please help me welcome Jules Bennett! Jules is guesting today to celebrate the release of her latest book and is prepared to answer all of your reader questions, so put your thinking caps on! Scroll down to see my review and ordering information from a couple of days ago. Jules is offering an autographed copy of her new Silhouette Desire, SEDUCING THE ENEMY'S DAUGHTER, to one lucky commenter. I'm celebrating with some prizes too. Because we're all romantics at heart, my prizes are from the American Heart Association's Go Red store and include two "Go Red" totes, a "Go Red" lighted compact and several "Go Red" pens - in addition, I have a handful of Jules' pens and bookmarks. I'll combine mine to make two prizes: one w/a tote, compact, pens and bookmarks and one w/a tote, pens and bookmarks. I'll also pull a few names for pens and bookmarks. Names will be drawn and announced at the end of the day. I hope you'll take time to pop over to Jules' website to learn more about her and her work - but for now, let's have those questions! Can't think of a question? No problem, just leave a comment and you'll be entered.
Thanks for being here today, Jules!

This cover is gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. How much input did you have into it, and do you love it because it is gorgeous?
Waving hi!!!! Congrats on the release!!!!!I love, love, love the cover!!!!!
Hello Jules! I have Seducing the Enemy's Daughter next up in my TBR pile, and will be ordering For Business...Or Marriage in the next week or so. My question: Will there be any more books featuring the Stone family? I like to get all books in a series before I start, and then buzz through them at once. OCD, perhaps? LOL.
Thanks!
Congratulations on your first Desire release! I already have the book so please don't enter me.
How does writing for Desire differ from your other publishers?
Keri, I LOVE THIS COVER, TOO! I gave them suggestions and I couldn't have asked for a better one for my debut:)
Karen! Will you be MY screaming fan today?:)
Barb, there are only 2 Stone books:) For Business...Or Marriage? is available now on eHarlequin! Go order:)
Lisa, I've loved all my publishers. There's not much different in my opinion. They've all been wonderful, easy to work with and very, VERY open and understanding. I'm so happy with where I am today.
Thanks, guys!
My apologies for being absent all morning. Our telephones/internet (at work) has been down for the past three hours - once it came back up there was a bit of catching up to do.
I agree on the beautiful covers! Love the soft colors and the attractiveness of the couples. I sometimes think they could have found better looking people (not nice, I know) for the models, but you did quite well, Jules!
I'm so pleased you could all stop over!
Jules,
My questions have to do with time management. You're a very busy woman - how do you manage your business, your home and family, and still have time to write? Do you get ANY time to yourself?
Jules-
I am looking forward to reading these books. Congrats on your first Desire releases.
Can you tell us about any new projects you are working on?
Are you still writing for your original publisher as well as the Desire line?
Congrats on the new release, Jules. Looking forward to reading your books.
Laurie, I really need to work on an outline for my time management...it's more like time chaos. I have no schedule. I just write as I can between playing with 2 toddlers, working in a bustling shop and spending quality time with my hubby. People always ask me, so I'm going to sit down and figure out a good way to explain my time...as soon as I can;)
Barbara, I'm only working with Silhouette Desire now. I have an anthology in June with Lori Foster and another Desire in October. I'm working on 2 follow-up books that *hopefully* will get picked up by Desire that go with the October release.
Jane, thanks for stopping by! Hugs:)
Be right back, ladies:) Going to a blood drive! Hope I don't pass out:)
Hey Jules. Sorry I am late, can't post at work for some darn reason.
I loved this book and will be ordering the next one.
Good luck at the blood drive. My one and only time was not a good time.
What is the oct desire about?
The covers of your Desires are really pretty. What author would you say your writing is like?
From what I can tell your books are contemporary. There has been much talke lately about the contemporary being "dead". Do you feel this is true?
Are there any things about the writing business or maybe better put the business of writing that have surprised you?
How does your family feel about having a romance writer in the family and have they read your books?
Finally are your earlier boos still available for sale?
Thanks for stopping by today and chatting with us. Looking forward to reading your work.
Finally home from work but I'm about to head over to take dinner to my mom. Thank heavens she's finally on the road to recovery from all of the knee "stuff"!
Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by so far today.
Jules, Barbara raised a question that I like to ask authors - who in your family reads your work? I always say that if I were to write the kind of books that I like to read, I probably wouldn't tell my mother because she would insist on reading them and then would be absolutelyl shocked. Not that she's a terrible prude, but she's 80 and very, very modest and conservative.
What advice do you have to wanna be authors? I'll admit, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, that I'd love to write a book. I always have story ideas running through my mind. I guess it's just a matter of sitting the old butt down and making the effort. I'm pretty sure it's the same as everyone thinking they can sing - and we know how untrue that is!
I'll check back in after I get back from my mom's, around 8 or so. Jules, you can decide if you'd like to draw names tonight and be done with it or let things go over to tomorrow morning for any stragglers - just let me know which you prefer.
Sounds like a good book. Will be looking for it.
Wow! Thanks for all the questions!
Barb, my family is SO supportive because writing has always been a dream of mine. As for contemporary being "dead", I haven't heard that, but a few years ago paranormal was dead. It's like clothes...hold onto it, the style will come back:) I don't write to be in with what is popular, I write what I love and what my heart desires.
The October release is about a Miami resort. The couple are architects fighting for the contract when the builder decides to contract them both...thus, they are forced to work together. Oh, and they were once engaged:)
For writers who want to be published, don't ever give up on your dream. If you give up, you didn't want it bad enough to begin with:)
And, my earlier books are available on Amazon:)
Laurie, just pick a random winner...everyone has been so great, I couldn't choose:)
Thanks for having me! I really enjoyed today:)
