TAILS OF LOVE - want to win an autographed copy?

This year's "benefit" book at Lori Foster and Dianne Castell's Reader/Author Get Together, was TAILS OF LOVE, a ten author (Lori Foster, Stella Cameron, Kate Angell, Dianne Castell, Ann Christopher, Marcia James, Donna MacMeans, Sarah McCarthy, Patricia Sargeant, and Sue-Ellen Welfonder) anthology benefitting the AAF (Animal Adoption Foundation) in Hamilton (near Cincinnati), Ohio. I bought an extra copy for giveaway here and was able to have it autographed by all of the contributing authors.
If you're interested in this signed copy, simply leave a comment and you'll be entered in the draw. Because these are charming little stories about pets of all shapes and sizes, if you'd like to tell us about your pet(s) past and/or present, feel free! Send a friend over who mentions you in their comment and I'll give you an extra entry! I'm going to let this one run a while and will draw a winning name on July 3rd.
Here's a blurb for TAILS OF LOVE:
Ten all-new stories that celebrate our animal friends, by bestselling and award-winning authors. All Author and Agent proceeds from sales of the book will benefit the AAF - Animal Adoption Foundation - a no-kill animal shelter in Hamilton, Ohio. From Seeing Eye dogs to the cat who cuddles in your lap, animals are there for us in more ways than we can count. Helping us get through the day with a wag of the tail and a tilt of the head, they let us know that someone is on our side—no matter what. They also have an amazing ability to break down barriers between people; bringing families and loved ones closer, and giving strangers an excuse to strike up a conversation. In Tails of Love, each writer draws from her own unique perspective on our loyal friends—exploring the many mysterious ways they bring love into our lives.
Go here - TAILS OF LOVE - to watch a fun video, read an excerpt, and for ordering information. Thanks!
Laurie

I would definitely love to win a copy of this. You're always so generous, Laurie. This book sounds fantastic.

As for pets, the most recent ones we had at my house were cats. Sadly, none of our cats lived very long because they all ended up having health issues. Our first cat will always be my favorite, though she was with us the shortest because she had what was called rubber kitty disease - a lack of connective tissue. She was the sweetest cat around, though, and would snuggle with anyone.

Hi Laurie,
Tails of Love sounds like a great book!
When I was a kid, we had a dog. We had so much fun with that dog, going for walks, playing in the yard or just goofing around in the house.

Hi Laurie, I have heard a lot about this book and I want to read it.

We used to have a pet parrot named Chico, he would wave bye bye with his foot and could say a few things like Chico pretty bird. This bird was very tame. We had to sell him when my son became a todler. Taking care of a todler and cleaning up after a bird was more then I could handle along with working full time. The only pets we have not is fish in a pond and in a tank in the house.

Our animals are such a part of our life. I don't know what we would do with out them. We have 3 cats and 1 dog inside. We won't even do into how many we have outside. So the love the idea of this book and what it represents. Count me in for the contest. Would love to win this book. Have a great day.

Love to win! Back in the 50s my mother had a wringer washer. Mittens - my cat - liked to sit on the edge and bat at the suds until one day when when she leaned over too far and fell in. Yes, she missed the wringer, but from then on she skipped laundry day.

Don't enter me in the contest since I already have a copy. Just wanted to say I enjoyed these short stories. I love how we get a sampling of authors that we haven't read before and the stories were all centered around a pet of some sort.

Hi! Thanks for mentioning TAILS OF LOVE on your blog! I had the opportunity to donate one of the short stories in the book. The Animal Adoption Foundation is a wonderful cause.

We adopted two kittens from our local shelter last summer but we only went there to adopt one. We brought our daughter and her friend, two college students. When we went to look at the kittens we were stunned at the number of them. The girls loved all the kittens and begged us to get two and so we did and I am glad we did since they keep each other company when no one is home.

How fabulous, Laurie! We don't have any furry pets, but I've always enjoyed hanging out with our friends' furry families. (Didn't realize I was allergic to cats until I'd spent a couple nights with some friends who had several!) And I adore these authors--can't wait to read their pet stories! Thanks for the terrific contest, as always! :)

Hey Laurie,
I am new to your blog, and can't believe I never found it before now. Thanks to having Karin T on here otherwise I would have definitely missing out on a great thing!

I have a boston terrier dog who is getting a little old, he's got a lot of white on his face now, but he is so sweet! Can't imagine life without him.

I would love to win Tails of Love. Any stories w/animals and I am a sucker for it :)
