Here's my baby rolling out on her first solo drive this afternoon. Yep, she finally got her driver's license yesterday. Look out if you're in the vicinity of central Ohio! lol I'm teasing, of course, she's a very cautious driver. She could have driven almost two years ago but had no interest in getting her license. I think her older sister had her permit and her license on the earliest possible date, so this seemed very unusual to us. My boss (also her boss as she works in my office after school and on days out of school) used to tease her about having been accepted into college but unable to drive a car! Trust me, I'm more than ready for this child to be mobile.
I hope everyone has had a great weekend. We were incredible busy, running here and there all weekend. I feel like the weekend went by in the blink of an eye. I'm hopeful that next weekend will be much more relaxing!

Nice car! :)
Laurie, I've been meaning to email you but things keep coming up, I got the Go RED stuff a few days ago and they're so cute! my mom loves the pins, we've been wearing them everywhere like a couple of dorks, lol. Thanks again!
Yay to your dear daughter for getting her license. I wasn't allowed to get mine til I was 18, and believe me, I was ready LOL.
Have a good week, sweetie :)
Congrats on your daughter getting her license. My sister didn't get her license until she graduated from college. She took driver's ed in high school and had her permit. Unfortunately, the insurance for a teenager with a license is horribly outrageous and my mom couldn't afford it as a single parent.
Laurie,
My sister was in college before she got her license. She actually found people to take her so she wouldn't have to drive. She was this way in everything though, would do it when she was ready. I knew the exact day and time I could go get mine.
My oldest will start driving this summer. Which is both a blessing and worrysome event.
Congrats on your daughter getting her license!!!
Congrats to your daughter! I waited quite a while before getting my license, too. And since my kids are years away from even contemplating driving, I've got many years of chauffering ahead of me... ;)
Congrats to your youngest, and now maybe that will free up a little time for you!
Congrats to Kelsey..I worked with a lady who never drove and I think she is 40 now. Today at the license place (love my new picture NOT) there was this little old lady I am guessing 70 ish. After she left the register said the lady never learned how to drive until her 83 yr old hubby was in an accident. She just got her fist license.
