THINK THIN THURSDAY

I'm keeping it very simple this week because I'm a tad pressed for time. The following is a little blip about the positives of walking, taken from another one of the daily emails I get from Ladies Home Journal.

It's hard to motivate for exercise when you're feeling down and out. But your bad mood is actually the best reason to increase your activity level. Studies show that something as simple as a 10-minute walk can ease depression and boost your mood. In fact, walking can help decrease feelings of tension, anger, stress, and confusion -- it even gives you energy. Try it and see for yourself!

So grab your sneakers, bundle up, and go for a walk!

Sounds smart, Laurie. I know that getting up and moving can make me feel better, though in the winter it's hard to feel motivated when you just want to snuggle under the covers all day! Hope you're having a great weekend :)

I need to be so much better about that. It's just so hard when the weather's awful, like it has been lately. Oh, and hubs read this afternoon that exercise can have as much effect as Prozac and other anti-depressants.
