RESCUE ME - An anthology of steamy romantic suspense

I read a great book over the weekend - RESCUE ME - a three author anthology from Cherry Adair, Lora Leigh and Cindy Gerard. I'm not taking time to put up snazzy links with their websites, but have provided them below - I suggest checking them out, although I'm not finding Cherry Adair's to be very current. I hope that means that she's hard at work on another book!

My favorite romance genre of all is suspense, and these three authors are some of the very best at writing romantic suspense. While Lora Leigh's story is (IMO) the most sensual of the three, I found it very similar to one of her previous releases, Hidden Agendas.
I highly enjoyed this anthology and give it a very strong recommendation.
I've decided to give away my copy of RESCUE ME. Yes, it's been read, but it looks "almost" new. If you're interested, just leave a comment here - I'll let this one run a while - until Friday evening. As usual, US/Canada addresses only, please.
Another good book I finished this weekend is by new author Kathleen Grieve, titled THE DOCTOR'S DECEPTION, a medical romance from The Wild Rose Press. Kathleen is going to be a guest blogger here soon, so be on the look out for that.
Have a great week!
Laurie

This looks good Laurie! I have not read these authors before, and this would be a nice introduction. I really enjoy the novella format -- you can easily get through a story in an evening.

Definately count me in, this book is one I really want to read.

I love Adair's T-Flac series and I've read a couple of Cindy's books (I liked them). Lora Leigh is a new author for me though I have heard of her.

Thanks,

Terri W.

I love anthos and Cherry and Lora are two of my fave authors. I LOVE the T-flac series and Lora's SEALS. I highly recommend both of these ladies. I've not read Cindy Gerard before, though.

I have read Cherry Adair but not Lora Leigh or Cindy Gerard (I believe I have one of her's in my TBR...On The Edge??).

Your review sounds great, although I don't like the idea that you thought Leigh's story was similar to another earlier story.

Since I haven't read her before it's OK with me but what about her faithful followers? Just a pet peeve of mine!

Hi Laurie,
Now that sounds like a terrific book! I shouldn't be surprised given those three talented ladies wrote it.

I love anthologies since they give you an opportunity to sample new authors and it is easy to read one story in a sittting as opposed to a book.

I love romantic suspense as well. This one sounds like it might be fun. I recently finished 3 aces, and want to recommend that as well -- though it's not nearly so steamy as this one sounds like! But there's romance between a woman who plays Texas Hold 'Em (and other poker) as a job, and a Vietnam vet who's hiding from the world in the cab of his truck.
